Anyone who has seen the Japfest facebook page will know all about the problems of the day... to be honest it's going to take a lot of convincing to make me want to go back next year!

Turns out we were quite lucky 'only' being in the queue for 2.5 hours  ::) Those parking in the general carpark had to queue up to 5 hours!!!! At one point the police were turning people away... even those with pre-booked tickets.

The queue (which also included some wedding cars and a vicar apparently  :( ) coupled with no track time, filthy toilets, people claiming my Daihatsu wasn't Japanese, and a strong smell of 'weed' all day didn't really make me a happy bunny... HOWEVER you guys did me proud again.

What a variety of cars we had! Don's AZ-1 and Beat, Daz's Mira, my little Copen, a Suzuki Alto works, and Avanzato's Mira! (We agreed it was odd not having any cappos)

Thanks a lot guys for making the effort and not giving up on the queue, I was really proud of you all.

Also well done to Avanzato for hopefully recruiting some new members in the Alto works, and many thanks to Don for bringing in the crowds with his doors as usual hehe.

Some photos:

The queue!

Sounds like it sucked.
What sort of muppet said the Copen wasn't Japanese.  That would've got my goat too.

Good to meet everyone.  Was definately car'd out by 4.

Heard it took some people hours to get out as well. So the little short cut was really handy  :thumb:

great looking photos. Shame about the event. Don't think you can get more japanese than a kei car. What a fool!
