The William Boulton memorial trophy
New for KKITP 2012
Sadly at the weekend my grandad passed away, and though he only had the opportunity to attend one of the annual meets his support for the annual meet continued until his passing. Not only did he equip me emotionally for the world but he taught me how to drive and played a key role in the purchase of my first Kei car. He took great interest in photographs of KKITP events and loved all the little cars he saw. In the floods of 2009 he even travelled with me to make sure the field would still be suitable for the annual meet. I'm not sure how many of you met him, but without him I don't think there would even have been a KKITP at all.
I've spoken with the club reps and have the go-ahead from those who've posted so far to present to the club a memorial trophy to be awarded at the annual meet 2012.
My grandad was a very kind man, who taught me tolerance, respect and understanding. He did everything he could to help anyone, no matter who they were or what he'd receive in return. Knowing that he was helping others was justification enough for his actions.
So we'd like the William Boulton memorial trophy to be awarded to the KKITP member deemed by member's vote to have been the most helpful member of KKITP in 2012. I'm opening this up to club reps too, and as usual keeping it all anonymous.
BTW, no nominating me please!
I've had a lot of suggestions so far, so don't forget to get your nominations in before time runs out.
Poll now added, please get voting for the member you think has been the most helpful to all KKITP members.
Well done to Dazran for winning the William Boulton memorial trophy! Thank you for all your help with the club.
