Looking to buy.. A Suzuki Cappuccino
As the title says really! Although I have a few questions.
What are they like to drive on the motorway?
What are running costs like?
Are they as scary in the wet as the parkers review would have you believe?
All going well my Starlet GT Turbo will be going up on ebay tonight and the hunt for a Cappo will begin. Thanks everyone!
Hi Max and welcome
As standard they are ok on the motorway but could do with a bit more overtaking power to feel perfect. An N1 ecu does this and more or the cheaper method is to turn the boost up to 1.0 bar and fit a speed delimiter.
Parts aren't cheap as the car is so rare and shares very little with other Suzuki models. Rust is the major problem for Cappos. Check it very carefully. The problem is though that they tend to rust from the inside out so you really need to see under the carpets to check it out fully. Choose the right one though and you won't be disappointed !
And yes if you provoke it the rear end can step out but drive to the conditions and it's not a problem.
Thank you ever so much for your reply, it's greatly appreciated.
There's only two for sale on eBay currently, this takes my fancy, however I'm a little bit worried by the aforementioned rust! apparently it's had lots of welding, so should be okay? Worth a look or stay well away? www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1994-Suzuki-Cappuccin...b:g:LHsAAOSwl9BWJnuq
