Hi mate build still comming along slowly had to install new rear wheel cylinders today (daihatsu hijet ones fit ) also got a new steering wheel comming for it, got a few stickers on and painted my springs I'll grab photos tommorow also got a hid kit to fit. Still need to find a way to get some more poke out the 660 :/ much help would be appreciated pointing me in the right direction of a service manual for my engine
Well got my footwell leds in over the weekend and they look spot. Steering wheel is also fitted I used a Honda ej9 boss kit with a LOT of modification to fit but it is all on now and looks mint. Also decided that it was time to make a proper carb gasket rather than silicone so had the carb off and have played with it to try and get it to run correct and 90 percent there still has cold start issues tho so any guidance would be appreciated, I will get some photos soon of the interior bits and bobs. Also has anyone heard of using the 1.0 kenari motor in these cars ?
Needing help urgently on some advice I have found a kenari with the 1.0 confident themotor fits as it's a ef like mine but unsure of the gearbox and how I would wire it in as it's efi ??? Please help haha very stuck here
I hope so still off the roads for a month and a bit for speeding, but should be nippy especially as I used the 660 box for ease of install and the shorter ratios ! Just had to use 660cc flywheel and the clutch. When I have the cash spare going to order some Corsa b front coilovers and some new standard rear shocks to sort out the bounce of blown shocks. Other than that and some front brakes and maybe a turbo at some stage down the line I'm happy with it I haven't heard of anyone doing anything like this to a moderno before.
