Hi everyone!

My name is Joachim from Munich, Germany and I'm proud owner
of a 2003 Copen, one of the first 16 Copen in Germany.
It's a genuine Kei car with 64 HP and 660 ccm turbocharged engine.
My wife also has a Copen, 68 HP - a black one.
So you can say: we are a litte bit Copen-mad! :woohoo:
I hope to join your annual meeting in 2015!

kind regards
Joachim

Hi Joachim, welcome to KKITP. Nice Copens. Never seen one, let alone two with Lambo doors. Will be great to see you next year.

Thank you for the warm welcome! :woohoo:
I bought the orange Copen with the wing doors in May 2014, since my wife has dreamt of wing doors
for her Copen ("Black Pearl") for years we let them install in September this year.
You open the doors quite normal to an angle of about 30 degrees (which is enough to get in and out)
and then push is up. Feels like 3 lbs.

Since the maximum angle of the opened doors is smaller
the handling in a garage is even more simple! You don't
have to push the doors up.
Of course you can open and shut the doors while the roof
is open.
Until 30 degrees of opening there's absolutely no difference
in handling.
By the way: This is my second Copen. Had a red L881 for seven
years before.
