As some of you are aware I recently acquired one of the 2 (or 3) X4's in the country. I liberated it from the Irish countryside and drove (+ ferry) 200 miles home without issue. It is now resting in Lincs awaiting a thorough service, MOT and re-registering on UK plates.
I've not got many new pics of the car, but here's what I've taken so far. I'll try and keep this updated with the progress of the car.

Leaving Ireland - Dublin port

Current location

Engine bay

Similar crappy manifold to the zato

Turbo code is RHF4 VQ36 - which is a Daihatsu part, not Subaru as I was lead to believe, this is good news.

Much love for this car. Can't wait to see it at Kkitp!

The V5 has landed, so number plates have been ordered and I'll be looking to book it in for an MOT this weekend.

Awesome. Are those Volk TE37 GRAVEL rims real?

I've done a couple of thousand miles in the X4 and am loving it. The boost is addictive and comes in a great big wallop. It's still set at quite low boost, around 18psi. I've not done a track day in it yet, but that's probably when I'll turn the boost up, 24psi is apparently the safe limit.

Since I've had the car I've fitted D-sport rear brake shoes, ferodo racing pads, some custom flexi hoses and different springs on the back. I've tidied up a few bits inside the car, fitted a small steering wheel and pod for the boost gauge. I've also changed all the fluids, coolant, gearbox & diff oil.

I need to pick up a few bits from BobF and I'm waiting for a custom exhaust manifold from Malaysia. When the manifold arrives I'll be changing the front of the car quite a bit including fitting a stock bumper and Dane has some crystal headlights he's holding on to for me. When I fit the manifold I'll also be looking at replacing/relocating the intercooler & possibly relocating the battery to the boot as well. I'll do an update when the manifold arrives and I do that work.

As for the rims, I'm not sure what they are, but I like them.

Hi chris, long time no speak!

Glad your enjoying the motor! Where abouts are you getting the manifold from? I'm having some (inlet and exhaust) finally made up for mine over winter..

Are you interested in a visit to the pod next year?
