HI I have a lovely Suzuki Jimny and would like to know if I am elegible to join Kei Kars? It is Japanese and is rather small. When I say Japanese it was actually Spanish built but designed in Japan. Many thanks, Tonybell

Hi and welcome to Kkitp!! You're more than welcome to join up regardless of Kei ownership. If you're a car enthusiast you're welcome!! Those little Jimneys are amazing off road, bet you had fun in the snow.

We're here for a good time, not a long time.

Thanks Andy, the thrill of actually achieving 60 MPH by virtue of the curvature of the earth is well worth the 1/2 tank of petrol that it takes my Jimny to do, so I will decline your kind offer. The only way they could climb Mt. Fuji with 600 CC (as a Kei car) is to have a big pulley at the summit and a counter-weight on the far side! It does however, have a beautifull exhaust note and two gear sticks, which is far too many for an old codger like me!
