emo Subaru 700 Van (not quite a Kei)

While hunting for kei cars I stumbled across this Subaru 700 van for sale.

For some reason I'm intrigued, not quite what I'm looking for but still tempted. Its the right dimensions for a Kei van, being slightly smaller than a Subaru Sumo but its 665cc engine is too big for the 550cc regulations when it was make.

If I was a little shorter I'd respray it in Subaru WR Blue, turn it into a day van/micro camper and use it for music festivals.

I think so, I spotted it on RetroRides forum too while googling for more photos of 700 vans.

According to his thread he's fixed the fuel gauge 4 days ago & dropped the price to £600 http://retrorides.proboards.com/thread/180708/1987-subaru-700-van-norfolk?page=1

That's pretty awesome! I think it would look awesome in WR blue with the WRC decals all over the sides, as well as some gold alloys B)

Read the ad, 657cc, it is a Kei! - shame it doesn't have the optional supercharger or I'd buy it!

The EK23 Turbo? A turbocharged 2 cylinder would sound awesome. B)
