Mira classic Spares or Repairs for sale in Folkestone Kent
My Mira classic failed its last mot for rust on the arches and sub frame.
I had a baby this year and its not the most practical family car to have so haven't pursued getting it fixed.
Iv had a lot of fun with her and I'm hoping some one here will want to take on a project on or at least make use of the best parts and engine.
Things of interest include, a custom long life stainless steel exhausts, which has a lifetime guarantee, its from the down pipe back which fits perfectly, looks nice and isn't to loud at all.
The previous owner had a set of alloy wheels imported which I believe its quite hard to find ones that will fit the Mira classic and avanzato, thought they will need a little TLC.
I also have the original alloys for anyone who is interested these would need a proper recondition as they have quite a bit of surface corrosion.
The leather interior is in good condition, there is no real damage on the body work apart from the rust on the arches and sub frame.
Dash, steering wheel and all parts attached apart from one of the front silver bumpers that came of while driving and when I investigated I managed to pull the other one off which i still have.
I think the engine is roughly at 80k and is still working as well as when I bought it, the turbo still functioning though it is looking a bit rusty.
I had to get a custom oil feed pipe made and fitted as this split 3 years ago, no problems since.

Just wondering, is the turbo the same as the one fitted to the 4 cylinder JB-JL engine? In terms of mounts and such?

In my experience no.
I tried to fit the turbo from a JB-JL Avanzato on to an ef-rl Mira classic and despite the turbo's being very similar the flange to the exhaust manifolds were different.
