emo Suzuki Alto Works RS-Z (Manual)

06 Oct 2019 16:24 #27619

Alrighty, it's time to sell up.

For sale is my 1995 alto works, 155,xxx KM. It was imported earlier this year in fair condition. It's got some mods (Listed below) Runs sweet as a nut, hasn't given me any problems. The clocks are still in KPH so there's no confusing the mileage of it.

As soon as it came in, I got it undersealed, there is 0 rust underneath which is nice.

NGK Iridium plugs Heat Range 8
RSR Lowering Springs 35mm
RSR Bump Stops
Wind Deflectors
Kakimoto Exhaust GT Backbox
NGK Ignition Leads
Wide Band Sensor
Turbo Timer
Suzuki Ignis Sport Seats With Custom Rails
Recirc Delete
Mushroom Filter
Rocker Cover Breather
Silicone vacuum hoses

Bad points:

The N/S/F drive shaft is knocking. I have a spare pair, but as it's an abs model, the rings will need to be swapped over on to the new pair.

There's a very small amount of rust on the body. One patch is about the size of a 50p piece on the passenger's door at the bottom.

There's a bit of lacquer peel on the roof.

The front bumper was sprayed by hand in a bit of a rush for JDM coombe.

The rocker cover gasket is weeping a bit, but not to the point where it's covered everything in oil.

All parts were imported from Japan, new. They cost me an arm and a leg, but I don't expect to get my money back.

Price: £3250. The price is pretty firm, to be honest. It's probably cost me close to £4500, but as I said, I don't expect to get my money back.

NOTE The pictures are Pre lowering and wind deflectors.

Sad to see you're getting rid of it.
For those not in the know this is an RS-Z so it's the more desirable Twin cam version of this generation of Alto Works. The asking price is very low for one of these as there is no more than half a dozen in the country.

Ps: Seems like you forgot to mention this is a manual box one.

Thanks for the pointers. I always leave the important bits out lol.

Out of the half a dozen in the country, I wonder how many have ABS. Or did it come as standard?
